Translated from swedish: Just like usual, there are plenty of familiar ingredients from Woody Allen's previous films, but the overall feeling of "A Rainy Day in New York" is unexpectedly fresh. Not least Timothée's portrayal of Gatsby, who instead of being classically "Woody Allen-neurotic" is more of a slow, mysterious and destructive force. Both Chalamet and Elle Fanning are fantastic in their performances and prove once again that they are two of the generation's finest actors. I particularly want to highlight Fanning's body language.
