Translated from swedish: Some movies would work better as series. It's mostly about them having a certain kind of sluggishness, a pace that doesn't quite fit the feature film format. Amirpour is undoubtedly an exciting voice with a completely unique signature. Still, there's something unfinished about "Mona Lisa and the Blood Moon". Sometimes it grabs you in a way that becomes almost hypnotic, only to create confusion in the next moment, just like the blood moon, about where it's actually heading.
