Translated from swedish: To be honest, I've never really gotten this kind of plastic coolness that defines movies like this. Where all that flashy stuff actually hurts more than it helps and results in a pretty shallow and lukewarm story. The characters coast along without any real obstacles and the film's outcome is pretty much a given from the start.

Translated from swedish: "Ocean's 11" is nice, despite its flaws. It puts a smile on your face and feels no need to wipe it off. The comedic timing is good, though not perfect. The actors are as good as they should be, some even better. It's quite exciting at times.

1. Aftonbladet
Translated from swedish: Here Clooney, Garcia, Roberts, Brad Pitt and the others certainly nail all their lines, but they never quite become their characters. Rather, they're like happy movie stars out to pasture, getting to play cops and robbers in front of an eagerly filming Soderbergh. That's why "Ocean's Eleven" becomes something as unusual as a film that's shamelessly entertaining - without engaging one bit.
