It’s hard to give two hoots about any of this lot, but at least the action exudes enough professionalism to give us something to look forward to. Not terrible, but undemanding.

There is plenty of nonsense, a great deal of stylish posturing and clothes-horsing, and a few action sequences that manage to be both gripping and preposterous.

"Takers" seems to harbor some greater, operatic aspirations (witness the overused slow-motion shootouts) and winds up delivering little more than bland pop. In that respect, the movie offers audiences a dilemma that its central characters could surely appreciate — a heist without much of a payoff.
- Brian Lowry
Box Office
Takers has earned a total of 80 205 382 dollars from cinemas across the world (the global box office).

The ending is a bit too grim and borderline-pretentious for a movie of this sort, but for as long as it stays close to the basics of the genre, it's not a bad way to spend an evening.
