Cassel and Cluzet, both consummate actors, have solid and very believable chemistry in these roles they could do in their sleep and newcomer Le Lann also impresses as the lass who comes between them, even if her teenage infatuation feels increasingly simplified and all-consuming and she becomes less rather than more interesting as the film progresses.
